Accessibility statement

MD Telemed is committed to making telemedicine available to as many people as possible. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and continue to improve the platform based on user feedback and testing.

1. Accessibility tools on this site

Use the accessibility button (person icon) in the top-right corner, just below the header on every page. It stays visible as you scroll. Open it to adjust vision, reading support, cognitive clarity, and epilepsy-safe viewing.

Your preferences are saved locally on your device and are not sent to our servers. To clear saved settings, open the panel and select Reset all.

  • Profiles: visually impaired, reading texts aloud, cognitive support, and epilepsy safe.
  • Sliders: font size, line spacing, content size, and word spacing.
  • Tools: black and white, hide images, highlighting mouse, simple font, stop animations, mute sound, reading line, and magnifier.
  • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+A opens the panel; Alt+Shift+R resets settings.

2. Measures we take

We build accessibility into the platform through semantic structure, keyboard support, and ongoing review of color contrast and interactive components.

  • Semantic HTML, labels, and keyboard focus on forms and navigation.
  • Skip links to main content.
  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images where applicable.
  • An accessibility statement and a channel for reporting barriers.

3. Known limitations

Some third-party content (such as live video during appointments) may rely on external providers with their own accessibility characteristics.

We are working to improve captions, transcripts, and alternatives where possible. Automated accessibility tools and overlays do not replace inclusive design in the underlying product.

4. Feedback
